BBQ Beef Brisket

 

INGREDIENTS

1.5 - 2Kg - Beef Brisket
3 Tbsp - Banging BBQ Spice Blend
2 Cups -  Apple cider vinegar
1 Tbsp - Tomato Puree
1Tbsp - Worcestershire sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
If you want to be naughty add 1/4 Cup of Brown Sugar

METHOD

  1. Preheat oven to 150°c (Gas mark 2) and line a large baking tray with foil. 
  2. Meanwhile, make sauce. In a small sauce pan, Combine the Banging BBQ Spice Blend with the vinegar, Tomato Puree, Worcestershire Sauce & brown sugar if you are being naughty. Simmer until slightly thickened, 10 to 15 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature. 
  3. Spoon the sauce over the Beef, cover with foil and slow roast in the oven for 3-3½hours until the beef is tender.
